AGS Studer type natural diamond chisel dressing tool on an MT1 shankOur standard Chisel type dressing tools mounted on a short Morse Taper 1 shank to fit Studer Cylindrical Grinding Machines come with a 0.50 carat High Quality Natural Diamond, with a 55 degree chisel angle.
The most common and stocked lapped radius sizes are 0.125mm, 0.250mm or 0.500mm.
With the short MT1 shank they will fit straight into the Studer standard dressing tool holders.
These tools are serviceable and we also offer a full re-lap service.

CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposit) log Blade type dressing tool. This dressing tool has a single larger CVD log set on centre of a Blade and has either a 0.125mm or 0.250mm lapped radius. We stock standard tools mounted on a short MT1 shank to fit straight into the standard Studer dressing tool holders
These tools are serviceable and we offer a full re-lap service.

Studer type 3 CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposit) log blade dressing tool has a 10mm wide Fliese blade with 3 CVD logs 0.8mm x 0.8mm x 5mm equi-spaced and positioned on centre with either a flat face or a 0.10mm or 0.25mm lapped radius. We stock standard tools mounted on a short MT1 shank to fit straight into the standard Studer dressing tool holders
